Hi! So happy you’re here!
If you are reading this far, you are probably a little curious about me and why I am starting a new business at the age of 45. The answer is actually pretty simple. I have this nagging question in the back of my head…but what if you could? This question, along with a healthy dose of stubbornness, has been a driving force throughout my life, showing up in different forms along the way.
Without boring you too much, this question is the reason I become a principal at the best school in the world, started a successful photography business in 2013, and dove head first into the recent renovation of our new-to-us 1980’s ranch style home.
“But, what if you could…”
So, here I am, 45 years young and sending my teens into adulthood. My husband and are preparing to turn our ranch renovation into a forever home for my family and parents. And here comes that little itch! But, what if I could create a place where I could share my design skills with others on similar journeys? What if I could use my drive to create to build something amazing? What if I could collaborate with homeowners to help them create their dream spaces?
What if could?
So, in true Erin fashion, before the fear and doubt could set in…I answered. I CAN!
I can share my passions with others. I can take my love of design and make something special. I can do it!
I set my sights on learning all that I could about building a new design consultation business. I researched social media advertising. I collated all of my personal vision boards and those I designed for my friends. I combed through webpages to find my favorite designers and learn their process. I took courses that allowed me to build a plan for my dream.
And I am here!
I am BEYOND EXCITED to launch Aerin Interiors- an E-Design company aimed at making interior design accessible to YOU. My dream is to take your story and visions and help you create places for all of your favorite memories. I cannot wait to show you where we are starting and I hope I can get to know all of you as I grow this little seed of mine!
Oh, and more thing before I go…
I read once that “confidence is the willingness to try.” So, my friends, what if you could? While it would be amazing to have you as an Aerin Interiors client and supporter, my bigger wish is that this story sends you a little spark of hope and confidence in whatever dreams you have in your heart. Because you can!
