Mc Gee & Co. - Top 10 vip President’s sale picks

Snow is coming, spring is right around the corner, and McGee & Co. just released their VIP early access President’s Day Sale. So, let’s get cozy and do some on-line window shopping!
Rounding up my top 10 favorite items on sale right now and those I have my eye on for our 1980’s ranch renovation. Scroll on down below and read what I love about every item and how I would use it my own space or when working on a client design.
  1. Osborne Cabinet

What I love about it: This black and mahogany combination stopped me in my scrolling tracks. I think the textured faded tone with the medium brown wood is just perfect. Plus, I love that this piece has multiple function options, from upscale liquor cabinet to bedroom storage.

How I would use it: I would love this in our boutique hotel themed bedroom as an extra storage option for winter sweaters or items I need to keep out of site.

  2. Diamond Braided Jute Rug

What I love about it: It’s not hard to find something to love about a great jute rug. This one brings it up a notch with it’s subtle diamond pattern.

How I would use it: This perfectly neutral rug is definitely on the short list for “things I need” for our ranch reno. It would be perfect under a natural wood dining table.

  3. Brigadier Pendant

What I love about it: I’m a sucker for a great pendant light and lately, white and brass is the combo that does it for me with it’s striking contrast and classic feel.

How I would use it: While these beauties would be gorgeous over your kitchen island, I also think how sweet they could be over a dresser or desk in girl-y bedroom.

  4. Arie Ottoman

What I love about it: When I would tag along with my Dad to antique markets as a kid, he always taught me to look at the small details that highlight the character of a piece. For me, the rounded feet on these guys set them apart with a modern spin on this classic tweed look.

How I would use it: Loving these under a entry way console and as extra seating for game night around the coffee table.

  5. Fielding Ceramic Pitcher

What I love about it: For me, pitchers are like shoes…a girl can never have too many! This one speaks to me with it’s satin ceramic finish and faceted lines. Also, it is food and microwave safe!

How I would use it: Right in the center of my dining table with some dainty spring blooms.

  6. Kragen Table Lamp

What I love about it: This squatty little guy has been in so many of my design boards lately. I can’t really tell you exactly what I love about it, but I think it’s the unique shape that is so unexpected. Both of the color options - black and sand- are so striking, you can’t go wrong.

How I would use it: I love this for an entry way or living room side table- perhaps topping my stack of favorite design books.

  7. Bunnell Lounge Chair

What I love about it: The arched back, unique footing, and wide variety of fabric choices make the Bunnell Lounge Chair top my list of living room accent chair choices. My personal faves are the crypton, linen, and velvet.

How I would use it: While we have not finalized our choices yet for our living area reno, I can definitely see this one at home next to fireplace.

  8. Prescott Coverlet

What I love about it: In know lots of folks love a cozy fleece or a fluffy down, I simply love a simple cotton gauze quilt or coverlet. It’s lightweight feel makes it versatile throughout seasons. The stitching on this one is so beautiful and I love that I can see it in complimenting a modern minimalistic bedroom or the staple of a more traditional look.

How I would use it: I actually ordered this in a queen size, even through we own a king bed. It’s the perfect accent blanket to add a little pattern to our neutral monochrome bedding.

  9. Arthur Wood Desk

What I love about it: My dream desk! I love the classic lines, petite legs, and brass details, especially the darling faux drawer lock. Soft close drawers add to it’s everyday functionality.

How I would use it: When I dream of my future studio space, this piece is front and center. The size of this desk allows it to be used as either the main attraction, or in a quiet corner.

  10. Haskell Side Table

What I love about it: The Haskell Side Table makes combing some industrial style pieces a little less scary for some of us.

How I would use it: Swap out those tired wood end tables for something a little more chic and unexpected. Have my eye on these for living room re-design for sure.

That bring us to the end of my McGee & Co. favorite finds from their VIP President’s Day Sale. I hope you enjoyed my ideas and it sparked a little creativity for your own home.
